Bitter Sweet

Now that the semester is over, I finally have time to blog. Marissa and I have both been so busy acing our finals that we just never found time to update our blog. Anyway, we are both really happy that the semester is over, but also very sad because that means we are no longer roommates! It was really sad when we had to take our lovely decor down:

And our beds will still match, but they just won't be in the same room

I am so grateful that we got to be roommates. Marissa is the BEST and we now have even more memories to add to our list! This next picture sums up a typical day:

Marissa singing while studying. She sure did put on a show for me while studying. Except I am the mean one and (sweetly) asked Marissa to turn down her music because I couldn't concentrate with it. But she was always kind and put in her earphones.

She always takes showers. All the time.

She also always takes out the trash.

We're Hot Wednesday

So technically this picture was taken on Sunday....but it was just a really hot day so we felt the need to share it with you....that is, if you didn't already see it on Facebook. 

We'll start first with Brynn's ensemble.

Brynn is looking oh so good in her salmony pink cotton dress. She's got the perfect shape to pull off this flowy dress. The color also compliments her skin perfectly. She topped off the outfit with her grey tights and short black boots. Only her long legs can make them look good.

Marissa had to wait for weeks to finally have all of the items to complete this outfit. Loving the winter style she  sported some flower-detailed tights with a linen dress from Target. We can all thank Santa and Mr. Steve Madden for the boots. Oh and matching belt=7 dollars!

We're Hot Wednesday

So it just so happens that the hottest day of the week happened to fall on the first day of school. Great for you all because we were looking mighty fine today. Today is show off our new coats day.

Brynn is wearing a cute mid-length coat complete with ruffle detailing on the flap. It is super black, just like her.

Marissa is wearing a green coat. It's just long enough to keep her butt nice and toasty. Well not really because it's a freaking ice town here. At least she can still look fabu!

Festivities Regarding Luminations

Not the cutest picture of us on this supposedly hot Wednesday but we in actuality did look very cute. We both wore fabulous scarves and boots to stay warm during our hayride to look at the lights.

So our ward went to Spanish Fork to look at the Festival of Lights. Brother Clay hooked a trailer to the back of his truck and put some hay in it so we could all ride in the back. Real classy. Luckily they gave us hot chocolate so we stayed a little warm. Brynn spilled some of her's on Jake (creepy) BUTler ;)

Is he really flying?! You'll never know!. The lights were so pretty and it made us really excited to go home and see Candy Cane Ln./Christmas Card Ln.

We're Hot Wednesday (Special Guest Edition)

This week we are doing things with a twist. Jake and Jordan came over to show off their outfits, and they were in luck because it was Wednesday and they were looking...well you'll see. To start off, Jake is wearing a new shirt he got over break and some fancy brown shoes. It is a very lovely brown and blue striped button up shirt. This is a perfect outfit for a date.

 Okay, brace yourselves for this next one. Jordan is just way too hot. We weren't sure if he was even aloud to be featured on our blog because his hottness might trump ours! TA DA...

 Yes, that is a ping-pong paddle sticking out of his shorts. And those are thermals he is wearing underneath his shirt and shorts. We just don't know how he does it!

This was a necessary picture to throw in. He says he is dressed as an Elf because it is December. I mean what else are you supposed to wear now? Oh, and we took him to target looking like this...enough said.

Technical Difficulties

     So we're really sorry that we've been slackers and haven't updated our blog...especially "We're Hot Wednesday." We were going to today, but our internet has been giving us problems and it will not let us upload pictures. And what's "We're Hot Wednesday" without proof? But it really is okay because we have not been too cute lately....more like cold. Really, it is freezing! So, sorry to disappoint you two weeks in a row!

     But we also want to say how excited we are to see our parents and families soon!! We miss them so much, and cannot wait to be with them!
